Merja (Lou Mei Lei)
My name is Merja Ruokonen (Chinese name is Lou Mei Lei). I am from Finland, but I have lived in Hong Kong over 15 years. I have coached volleyball teams in many schools and churches. I also do administration work in the office.
I am trained by Church Sports International to teach about how to do sports ministry. The topics range from biblical principles for sports ministry to many practical aspects like camps, clinics, visiting teams etc.
In next few years, my main task is to share the vision of big event sports ministry and help to facilitate KidsGames, big screen festivals and other activities related to the World Cup of Soccer and the Olympics.
