Football (Soccer)
Timing Kwok coaches soccer teams for schools and churches. Our main purpose is to use soccer as a tool to reach the youth. By training the boys we can help them learn discipline, how to work together, and how to persevere through difficult situations. Each training session includes some sharing from the Bible and encouragement for the boys' lives. We like to work with local churches to use soccer to draw the youth back to Church and the God who loves them.
We also cooperate with another sports ministry in Hong Kong called Soccer In Christ to do soccer camps and outreaches. Some of us were able to go to the 2002 World Cup in Japan with SIC and some international soccer players living in H.K. During the summer, we send overseas teams and recommend other soccer players who love God to help SIC with their biggest soccer camp.
