Summer of Sports
Summer of Sports (SOS) is our summer outreach program in Hong Kong that has run since 1988. The purpose of SOS is to bring Christian athletes from all over the world to Hong Kong to meet students, train them in sports, and share the gospel with them. SOS staff build relationships, demonstrates what it means to be a Christian through their attitudes and testimonies, and share the Gospel through group discussions and one-on-one conversations.
The program is run in partnership with local coaches, schools, churches and other community organizations. We also try to travel to surrounding areas each year to meet people and see how God will use us. It's a very exciting time for our staff and volunteers as we make so many good friends, have unforgettable experiences, grow in our faith and passion for the Lord, and see so many lives changed.
Hot Hoops Basketball Camp is the biggest event of the summer for us each year.
